Commission Disclosure Policy for Customers

We are a vehicle finance broker and offer a range of vehicle finance products and services, provided by our panel of lenders. We are not a funder or a lender. We offer the service of providing information regarding the products offered by our funders and introducing you to them for the provision of finance. We do not provide independent financial advice. We may be paid a commission for introducing you to a funder. Our commission amount is capped at a percentage of the taxable list price of the vehicle. We may also receive an extra amount based on how much business we give to the lender and the quality of the business that we introduce to them. The higher the amount that we receive in commission, the more you will pay for to hire or finance your vehicle. Customers who are consumers, sole trader or small partnerships and who use our services resulting in the entering into an agreement which is regulated by the Consumer Credit Act, have a legal right to ask us to disclose the amount of commission that we receive.

What are we required to disclose?

We are required to disclose the existence of commission as –

• Commission could act as an undue incentive to recommend a particular product
• Commission payable to us by a funder may affect our independence and potentially give rise to a conflict of interest when offering suitable products to borrowers
• Knowing about commission would have a material impact on the borrower’s decision

When can a customer request this?

A customer may ask for commission disclosure at any time form our initial discussions through to the point when their agreement is set live. After this point we have no obligation to disclose what we have earned from transacting the deal.
